We had a spacious, stylish, spotless room, and waking up to the view of Doi Suthep was breathtaking. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchenette was handy for a longer visit. T-Station Restaurant has a fun vintage train station look, and breakfast had lots of tasty options. The pool and gym were well kept, too, and made a nice break after exploring. Eastin Tan Hotel Chiang Mai is opposite MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Center and the One Nimman complex, right where Nimmanhaemin meets the rest of the city. Cafes, galleries, and boutiques are close by, with plenty to see and eat in the evenings. The staff were warm and helpful with local suggestions, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. Our stay was flawless, and we’d come back to Eastin Tan on another trip to Northern Thailand. It seems like a good fit for couples, families, or digital nomads.

When we checked in, the staff told us one room had a technical issue and proactively moved us to a penthouse. They also gave us welcome drinks, which was a lovely surprise. The team were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We stayed at Eastin Tan Hotel Chiang Mai from 10-12 Jan 2026. MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Center and Think Park are within walking distance, with lots of food, shopping, and entertainment nearby. We had a better stay than expected and would definitely return. Highly recommend it in Chiang Mai.

City view rooms can get noisy from the pubs and nightlife, while the mountain view rooms are quieter. There’s a large mall across the street and a local night market the other way. The hotel has a kids club on the third floor, adequate free indoor parking underneath, and fast free WiFi. Room visitors aren't allowed after 6 for safety reasons. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds, a kitchen and microwave, plus both a bathtub and shower. Breakfast could be excellent if the food were kept warmer, or if there were a microwave in the restaurant.

Breakfast had a limited selection and wasn't great, though the staff were enthusiastic. The pool was clean, but there was no attendant there. Our ninth-floor penthouse was convenient, with a kitchen, laundry room, dining room, three toilets, and two bathrooms. It had two bedrooms for our family of two adults and two children. Maya Shopping Mall, Onenimman, and nearby massage parlors were easy to reach.

Think Park events were extremely loud from our third-floor room, which was almost right behind the stage. When bands played, the room vibrated like a club. Higher floors might be quieter. The in-house restaurant is good, though there are cheaper places with more variety just a stone's throw away. It's about 15 minutes by car from the airport. The hotel has a boutique feel and a great spot across from Maya mall, right beside Think Park and around a five-minute walk from One Ninman.
