Moon Dragon Hotel

We slept really well here, which is unusual for us when traveling. The place was clean and comfortable, the air conditioning was cold, and the shower had good hot water. There’s no breakfast, just machine coffee and tea, but you can find breakfast a minute or two away, so that was fine. The staff were very helpful with our questions and arranged an airport transfer for our trip home. You’re right in the old city, within walking distance of temples and food shops, with a 7-Eleven down the road and Chiang Mai Cosmetics nearby for toiletries, makeup, and beauty items.

At 55 euros for one night, I didn’t think the price matched the quality. There was no breakfast, just weak coffee, and the hotel could use some care. I wouldn’t stay again at that price.

The pool was amazing, and I loved the mango shop out front. I also felt bad about walking out of the elevator onto the freshly mopped floor, so thank you for not scolding us. The staff were kind and polite, and the place was spotless, even the glass windows. The rooms and decor were beautifully designed, and the accommodation was gorgeous. I teach hospitality as part of my career, and this is what it should look like. I nearly cried when I first walked in because it was so beautiful, and it exceeded what I expected. The location was accessible and it was great value, too. We don’t usually travel overseas because we’re not wealthy, just good at saving, but I’d come back to Thailand just to stay here again if I could. This will always be one of my favorite places. The beds were really comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room looked onto the Sunday night market street, but we didn’t find it too noisy or disturbing. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable.
