Eurana Boutique Hotel

At 3:00 to 3:40 a.m., a few guys talked and laughed loudly nonstop for almost an hour, waking me up. I could hear them clearly from my room, but couldn’t tell if they were next door or somewhere else. Then, from 3:44 a.m. and again at 4:00 a.m., staff downstairs were speaking loudly and kicking a chair or something that made noise. The room was small, very old, and poorly maintained, with bad soundproofing. Doors slammed loudly every time they closed. The shower and sink drains were clogged and stayed that way after I reported them to reception. After a shower, the water sat 3-4 cm deep and took 10 minutes to drain. It was terrible. There were lots of fabric-biting insects on the wall and wardrobe, as well as other kinds of insects and mosquitoes in the room. Breakfast tasted good. Overall, I’d rate it 1-2 stars, with an okay breakfast and a 1.8m swimming pool. The rooms need fixing or renovating.

This was my second stay here, this time for a month. The Premier rooms are lovely, and the staff are really nice and helpful, especially Kham, our maid, who couldn’t do enough for us. The location is great for the walking street and Sunday market. A Grab taxi to the main everyday market is only around 90 baht. The pool is small and can get a bit busy sometimes, but it’s okay. I really recommend the hotel cafe: breakfast served at your table all day is 179 baht, or you can help yourself at the 200 baht buffet.

The housekeeping team were thoughtful and really nice, though the front desk service felt pretty average. I enjoyed the hotel, especially the upgraded side, and the room had plenty of space. The area is great for food and exploring. Just know the gym is basically nonexistent if that matters to you, and the grout in the tub could use a proper deep clean.

Nut was especially lively and helpful, and the staff in general were brilliant and friendly. The gardens are beautifully kept, and our room was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed staying here.
