John and Jenny were absolutely lovely hosts. Their cute, clean guesthouse is in the historical center of Chiang Mai, close to the amenities you might need. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

Staying at John & Jenny' sleep guest house felt like being back in the old, comfortable home I shared with my parents when I was young. I love it. The front door also made us feel safe from the outside while we were sleeping.

The hosts were really, really nice, and the room was comfortable. It's in a perfect spot in the city centre, with a great price for what you get. Obviously, at that price it isn't a 5 star hotel. There are animals in the neighbourhood, and the AC is a bit noisy at night, though that's normal in that area.

The breakfast was SO delicious, especially that pancake. I don't even know how they made it so good! Great service and location too. Definitely recommend staying here.

John welcomed us at check-in and gave us a map with his personal suggestions for places to visit and things to do. That personal touch made us feel so looked after. Jaae had also helpfully booked one of our tours before we arrived. We were leaving before breakfast began on both tour mornings. One day Jaae and John packed breakfast for us, and the next they got up early to start it ahead of time. So thoughtful of them. The room was spacious and comfortable. Toiletries were provided, the water in the fridge was topped up daily, and the shower had consistently hot water and good pressure. The location was quiet, but the markets and plenty of places to eat were within walking distance, and there was a laundry shop across the road. Thank you, John & Jaae, for a wonderful stay. We can't recommend Sleep Guesthouse enough!
