The refund was appreciated, but by then this had already affected my trip. At 2 AM, when the room outlets stopped working, I needed to charge devices for the next day. I was told a technician could come in the late morning, which would have meant staying in the room and losing half the day over a problem that wasn’t my fault. I asked about moving rooms or getting a temporary power source, but neither was available. The only option offered was to check out and request a refund through the booking app, which I did. I hope the hotel considers how upsetting a situation like this can be when guests are meant to be resting and enjoying their time. More empathy and flexibility would go a long way. The property itself seemed fine.

It’s a clean, new building, and the AC works well without being loud. Coffee is free, and there are lots of local restaurants, bakeries, and cafes close by. The location is very good if you want to stay near the airport and away from overcrowded tourist spots.

The bed is damp and stained, the room feels really humid, and there are ants everywhere. Fantastic *.*

For 600 THB, it’s decent enough, and the staff are polite and friendly. The Wi-Fi signal is really strong, and there’s a coffee shop right in front of the property. But the owner needs to deal with the cracks in the walls and the lack of bathroom fan ventilation. The AC takes one to two hours to cool the room, drips water, and has left lots of marks on the ceiling. There are also hot water problems.

The host is easy to reach on WhatsApp if you need anything. It’s a nice area with food and drink options nearby, and the old town is about a 30-minute walk away. The room was great for the price, and I had a great stay in Chiang Mai.
