The staff mentioned that second-floor rooms are quieter. My luggage was too heavy for me to carry upstairs, so they kindly brought it up for me and carried it down again at checkout. I really appreciated their help. There were a few mosquitoes in my room, so I’d suggest bringing or using repellent. Everything was very clean, and the room looked just like the photos. The bathroom was bigger than I expected, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. I had a wonderful stay and understand why so many previous guests gave this place five stars.

We had a great time here, and the stay turned out even better than I expected. The place was clean, comfortable, and in good shape. It sits right in the Old City among temples and charming little houses, with a peaceful, lovely atmosphere that reminded me of a Ghibli movie. The owner didn't speak much English, but she was so kind and helpful and did her best to communicate. When she noticed we wanted to play with her cat, she brought him over. He was adorable! The wifi was a bit weak and occasionally inconvenient.

It's hard to beat the price: you pay hostel rates but get a room with a private bathroom. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the AC worked well. The owners were consistently kind and welcoming. Tucked away somewhere quiet, it's still very close to the CXN city center. Would recommend!

We came back for a second stay during our time in Chiang May, which says a lot. The location in Chiang Mai's old town is ideal: the street is quiet, but you can get around on foot. If you'd rather rent a scooter, they'll help arrange one at a reasonable price. Both times, we found the rooms spotless and the AC effective without being noisy. It was easily the best value I found for a short stay, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
