The room had the space and upkeep of an apartment, rather than a standard hotel room, and I found it clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good each morning, and the staff were extremely friendly. There's a pool and hot tub too. The main drawback is that it's a bit far from many things, though that can also make the area quieter. The toilets in the rooms always had a foul sewer smell coming up through the pipes. An air freshener might mask it, but it was pretty smelly, so definitely keep the bathroom door closed. Even with that issue, I'd recommend the hotel; there were far more pros than cons.

I really liked the Japanese theme and peaceful atmosphere here, away from the busy Chiang Mai centre. It was a lovely, serene place to stay. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety, and the congee was my absolute favourite. The staff were kind and sweet and made sure we had what we needed. There was even the cutest kitty in the lobby to greet us.

The onsite onsen was the best part of my relaxing stay at Hinoki hotel. It's a quiet, very clean, no-frills place set away from the busy area, but not too far from it. The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean, and everything is well maintained. If you're after somewhere to properly rest and recover, this hotel is a great fit.

This cozy Japanese-style hotel is reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is nice. The rooms are super clean, with plenty of space for two, and parking was easy to find. In the single king-size-bed room, the bedroom is separate from the shower room and toilet, and there's a dining table and small pantry counter. The double-bed room comes fully furnished with built-in furniture. They provide a hair dryer for women.
