Isleep Guesthouse

A quiet street close to Nimman makes for a lovely, peaceful location, and I'd stay here again. The rooms are spotless, the owners are super friendly and helpful, and there's a great cafe downstairs. WiFi works much faster in the cafe, since it can slow down in the rooms. Around the corner, the fried chicken place is a real gem. You can book rooms with or without breakfast, and monthly rates are available.

OYO is a handy little guest house for a few days in CM. It's clean and cozy, with accommodating staff, and sits centrally near the Nimman district. Shops, food, and supply stores are all around. My room was quiet and clean, with warm water and fresh sheets. The TV is tiny, but it has movies and sports. Late check-in is available too, useful for travelers coming in on a red-eye. Highly recommend.

The family-run Thai restaurant across the street was great, and this is a decent place in a convenient spot just off busy Su Thep road. The woman running the guest house was really friendly, and the on-site washer was only 15 baht, the cheapest I saw in CM. I liked the polished cement design, though I wondered if it affected the Wi-Fi. I left after three nights because the connection wasn't strong enough. If it improves, I'd definitely stay again.

The staff were very friendly, and scooters were available to rent for 250 THB a day. The room was clean, and breakfast was okay, though the amount offered seemed to depend on how many guests were staying. Fewer customers meant less food. The guesthouse is a nice spot not far from the main road into the city center.
