We arrived during the Lantern Festival with a confirmed booking, only to find the hotel was full and had double-booked our room. The rest of the city was booked up too, so we had nowhere to sleep. Staff were dismissive and made no real effort to help. Some even laughed about what was happening. The manager wasn't on site. When we finally reached her by phone, she kept saying we'd get a refund, which we're still trying to obtain, as if that fixed the fact we were left without a room. She hung up several times, never called back as promised, and offered no solution. The hotel had a list of booking platform phone numbers, suggesting this had happened before. Other guests were in the same situation at the same time. It was an awful experience, with shocking lack of professionalism and empathy. If you need reliability, avoid this hotel. You could arrive without a room despite having a booking.

I travel a lot, and this was easily my worst hotel experience. My booking, made three months ahead, had apparently been cancelled, but no one had notified me or explained why when I arrived. Reception just told me to contact Booking.com for a refund and offered no help. The staff were dismissive and even seemed amused by the situation. It was the busiest holiday of the year, and it felt like they took advantage of that by refusing to check me in and possibly favoring guests who could pay more. I felt scammed and strongly recommend avoiding this property.

The decor is standard, and the equipment was working properly, including the water heater and air conditioning.

I was assigned a room on the fourth floor, and there was no Wi-Fi at all during my stay, despite free Wi-Fi being included. When I came back from Bangkok and checked out late, the staff threatened to call the police even though the policy allows a late checkout charge. They were completely incompetent and unprofessional.
