A wide choice of local places to eat is within a 5-minute walk, and the tour desk can help arrange sightseeing and travel. Car rentals are available through the front desk too. The rooms are simply decorated, with air conditioning, a TV, a seating area, and en suite bathrooms with hot and cold showers. There’s also an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi. Lakeland Homestay is in the heart of Chiang Mai City, with Nimmarn Road 3 km away and Chiang Mai International Airport and Doi Suthep Temple within a 20-minute drive.

The AC unit was really loud, and there are many beds. The place doesn’t look like the photos, but if you’re not expecting a 5star hotel, he tells this place is wonderful. I’d definitely go back, and the local bars are great.
