Lee Chiang Hotel

Breakfast was delicious, with buffet options like eggs made to order, toast, yogurt, salads, Thai dishes, and fruit. The hotel also arranged a private driver for a day trip after we contacted them a few weeks ahead. We couldn’t find the route of stops we wanted online, and the price was fair and service very good. The hotel is quiet, comfortable, and well equipped. Our room matched the pictures and we had no issues. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and we felt very welcome. We’d definitely stay again.

The staff really care about your stay and experience in the city, and everyone went above and beyond. The location makes it easy to get around the old city. There’s a woman across the alley who can do laundry and return it to the hotel the same day if you drop it off in the morning. Breakfast is 200 baht per person, and it’s worth it for the chicken Panang curry. It was so good I got the recipe. There’s also the cutest cat living in the alley, so give him some good scratches! After reading the great reviews, we booked and it was the best decision we could have made. If we come back to Chiang Mai, we’ll definitely stay here again. 100/10.

The hotel is very clean and quiet, in a perfect location. Our room was comfortable, nicely kept, and well maintained, and breakfast was tasty. The staff were genuinely interested in what we were doing and very friendly. They gladly helped with taxis and arranging activities. Thanks for a lovely stay that made our trip much more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

They kept a room for me even after Booking.com sent them a cancellation notice. When I arrived, they said I’d have a place to sleep, and it cost less than the room I’d originally booked. That felt honest and decent of them. I turned up 20 minutes late for breakfast and expected nothing, but they fried an egg and made me a plate of delicious fruit. They politely asked me to be on time next time, fair enough. The room was pleasant, and even though it was close to reception there was very little noise. The staff were polite, friendly, understanding about last minute changes, and seemed genuinely interested in what I was up to. Those small things mean a lot. Great location and lovely people who take hospitality seriously. Highly recommend, but seriously, don’t be late for breakfast.
