The bar is a lovely place to unwind after exploring the city, with nice drinks and a good atmosphere. This hotel sits along a bend in the Ping River, with peaceful, pretty views that make it easy to slow down and enjoy Chiang Mai. I also appreciated the simple but thoughtful design and comfortable, well put together feel. The staff were welcoming and happy to help. Anyone interested in architecture and art would enjoy staying here.

Right by the Ping River, the views were stunning, and the quiet atmosphere made this a lovely break from the bustle. The place felt cozy and welcoming, and I really enjoyed my stay. It was a great experience.

I first wanted to stay here because of the design, and the owner's warm hospitality made an impression too. The owner was very present and open, and the staff consistently gave us sincere service. I stayed once and loved the room and breakfast. Since I have a home in Chiangmai, I often return to Little Shelter Hotel for its creative events and enjoy the atmosphere. The food is delicious. Gin lovers will find plenty of local and imported kinds at the beautiful restaurant and bar. A drink with snacks in the cozy garden beside the Ping River is lovely too.

The room looked fantastic and had such a nice aesthetic, and it was a very good price. We had a great stay, with lovely staff who were really accommodating. The food was amazing and reasonably priced, and the location worked well for us. The night bazaar wasn't far, so we enjoyed wandering around there. Thanks so much, we'd definitely come back!💕

I live in Chiang Mai and wanted a nice little staycation for a couple of days, but ended up going back to my apartment. The place looks cute in photos, though in person it doesn't deliver. Maybe it was charming when it opened ten years ago, but it looks worn down now. The cleanliness was gross: threadbare towels, dingy sheets, and a dirty kettle inside. I honestly don't get where the good reviews are coming from.
