The staff are lovely and incredibly helpful, the rooms are great, breakfast is good, and the hotel is inexpensive. It's a quiet, friendly place and very good value. There's also a pretty decent gym, which I considered using every day of my stay. Ignore the negative reviews below. One detail for anyone relying on a review from a decade ago: the hotel has two elevators.

The location is excellent and the hotel is clean, but it needs plenty of repairs. The main door doesn't close properly, there are cracks in the walls, and the shower window is loose. The shower only got warm, not hot. We often couldn't find a concierge, and breakfast food wasn't always hot.

The location is good, near night markets, and the area is quiet. At around 1100 baht a night it's fairly good value, but I wouldn't pay more. The exterior and lobby look like a 4+ hotel, and the room was clean with a big bed, though the floors need refurbishing and the TV screens are too small. I couldn't get a comfortable shower temperature, just cold or very warm. The pool water was milky and the filtration system needs replacing. I might stay again.
