Rates were budget-friendly, and the hotel is on a quiet street close to many Chiangmai attractions. The rooms are spacious, with timber floors and basic amenities, and the AC works great. There's a kettle and cups, but no complimentary drinks, so bring your own. The ensuite shower has no ventilation, and the lingering smell may bother you. Housekeeping was generally okay, with two bottles of drinking water provided each day. There's a cafe by the ground-floor foyer and reception, but both close at 4pm. The five-storey building has no lift, which can make the climb to an upper floor unwelcome after a day out.

The rooms are large and clean, the price is reasonable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There's a coffee shop with good coffee, breakfast, and snacks, plus desks near reception where guests can work. The Night Market and Tha Phae Gate are just steps away. The downside is that the building and rooms are old and there's no elevator. My room was on the fourth floor, and getting my luggage up there was difficult.

I liked the spacious room and airy lobby, and would visit again if I get the chance. The room was among the best I've seen in a budget hotel, with a comfortable bed and chairs, a water coffee maker, a fridge, and a safe inside the cupboards. Reception was easy to deal with, and there was good WiFi and a quiet place to sit and work. The shower pressure was good, though the bathroom was small. My only issues were that there was no pool and I had to walk upstairs.

We were very happy with our stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautiful, the wifi worked great, and the location was central and convenient. I work on my computer, so having the cafe downstairs was handy. The coffee, sourdough, and eggs were delicious. No complaints.
