The room was roomy and practical, and the price for what you get is hard to beat. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the old town, which felt manageable. The owner was especially lovely, always smiling and happy to help me plan my day. A street-facing room might be a little noisy, though it does come with a balcony.

Noy was so friendly and helpful, and I’d happily stay at Nara House again. The room was quiet and comfortable, with a big bed, great pillows, lots of daylight, fresh air, and a good-sized balcony. There was plenty of useful stuff too, including a fridge, bottled water, coffee and tea downstairs, a desk, fan, new curtains, shampoo and shower gel, two large towels, and a roomy closet with hangers. The view isn’t much to look at, mostly a parking lot, a bright building next door, and electrical wires, although you can see mountains in the distance. There are markets and convenience stores nearby, and it’s a short walk to the ancient city. Very nice, comfortable place to stay.

No bugs, very clean, and the value is insanely good. The look isn’t going to match a hotel at this price, but the amenities were solid and the location was convenient. Noi was also really friendly and helpful. She arranged several tours for me and got me prices lower than the ones listed online. Thanks, Noi!

I ended up extending my stay because it was so nice. The hotel is quiet and well placed for attractions, with shops and a 711 close by and a pleasant seating area outside. The owner was such a kind, caring and welcoming lady. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The host was easy to reach and very friendly. The apartment itself was cozy and clean, and the location worked really well. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
