The room was bright and clean, and the balcony faced a new residential area with mountain views. We got what we booked, it matched the photos, and we had no problems, so by the American review style I’m giving it five stars. A few things to know: the rooms can be noisy, and there’s no toilet paper in the bathroom. You’ll need to use the bidet and a towel, though there is a paper dispenser in the kitchen. There’s a pool, but it’s in an odd spot with little sun and no loungers. The location is secluded, as the map shows. We had a scooter, so getting to the mountains or city center was easy and the distance didn’t bother us. The neighborhood feels very local and has lots of free roaming dogs. Be careful walking: we had a couple of somewhat scary encounters with dogs running out of yards on morning walks. We actually added a night to our stay. We’re moving now to be closer to the center and find a pool area that feels more inviting, but we really enjoyed our time here.

It’s a peaceful spot away from the busy areas, good for a getaway. The hotel serves breakfast, and the rooms are spacious, with a wardrobe, kitchen counter and desk. You’ll need transport to go out for food, which is 5-10 minutes away. So far, it’s been a nice stay, and we have one night left.

I came back again this year, and it’s still a good choice near expo UTMB Chiang Mai Thailand. Something here must be really satisfying, since I keep recommending it to friends from Vietnam and more of them come.

Everyone is very, very nice, and they made me scrambled eggs in the morning. The flowers and pool are lovely, and the place seems lovingly looked after. My room was large and well lit. The bed, though, was very hard, and I haven’t been here long enough to get used to hard beds. I really enjoyed my stay.

A good fit if you’re looking for a quiet, reasonably priced place near nature with fresh air. Breakfast was good. Just remember to bring a hair dryer and some personal items. That wasn’t a problem for me.
