The convenient location and available parking were about the only positives for me. During both nights, noise from renovation work on the floor was constant, with drilling and hammering in nearby rooms, even around midnight. I barely slept. I asked staff to help with the noise, but they didn't respond to my requests. The pool was closed while I was there, despite the full room price. The bathroom drain was clogged, and staff didn't fix it after I reported it. Breakfast was disappointing too, more like a hostel breakfast than what I expected from a hotel, and the quality wasn't up to standard. With so little care for guests' rest and basic problems, management needs a serious rethink around customer service. I can't recommend the place, and I won't spend my time or money there again.

For €47 a night it was okay, but I wouldn't come back. The balcony faced what looked like a patch of trash-strewn land, and the busy street was quite loud. The pool area was a mess and so uninviting that I never swam. The staff were sweet, but seemed a bit lost, and it was obvious a proper manager was missing. I even saw the receptionist crying at work, while the man on the night shift looked completely drained. Room cleaning was mediocre at best. I gave it four stars because it was cheap and the staff were at least kind, especially the receptionist with blond/light brown hair.

The location was just right for my solo trip. I wanted to be near the old city center without being right in the middle of it, and I felt safe walking back and forth alone early in the morning and late at night. The night market food area is about a five-minute walk away and becomes a wet market in the morning. The district park, with its lovely landscapes, is about a 1 km walk or run, a nice way to start a morning in this lively historic city. Grab rides to the night bazaar and Nimman took around 15 minutes. The room felt brand new, was quiet, and had a really comfortable bed, so I slept well. Staff were friendly, responsive, and accommodating. The balcony was a good size, though I hardly used it. The pool is small but fine for a quick cool-off, and breakfast was simple but enough. Glad I found the place, and thanks for the hospitality. I didn't take many interior photos, but I did get a video.

The soundproofing just wasn't good enough. We initially booked two nights, then after getting only five hours of sleep the first night, we added another and asked to move rooms. They didn't move us. Neighbors upstairs and people in the corridor could be heard until midnight, and the noise started up again around 6 in the morning. If you're hoping to sleep past 6am, I wouldn't recommend it.
