Pillows Boutique Hotel

Ants in the room got into my computer. I really couldn't accept that, and it was the main reason I decided to leave a bad review. The room WiFi was so weak that I had to use mobile data throughout my stay. The breakfast was mediocre, with few choices and average taste, and the coffee was instant. Given that, I don't understand why the room cost twice as much as Don Chan hotel next door. The building and the hotel grounds are beautiful, and I liked them a lot. As for breakfast, you don't need to eat at the hotel. Livin, the cafe in the parking lot, serves tasty coffee, bread, and noodles.

The hotel is a little far from town, which makes frequent trips to nearby attractions less convenient. That distance also gives it a secluded, peaceful feel. Breakfast had a limited selection, which could be a drawback if you want more variety. The design is what stayed with me: minimalist interiors in neutral colors, earthy details, big windows, and open spaces that connect the hotel with the quiet landscape. The exterior fits the surroundings too. The whole place felt calming and made it easy to unwind. I especially liked the small coffee shop on site. It's cozy and simple, a nice place to sit with a book. The coffee was rich and well made, and the few pastries they offered were fresh and tasty. I recently stayed here and would happily do so again. It's a beautiful boutique hotel with a restful atmosphere.

I like a peaceful hotel, and this was a good place to stay in Chiangmai. The room was really clean and had the facilities I needed. I'd recommend it to anyone coming here.

This is a good budget option outside the city, especially if you have a car. It's about 15 minutes from downtown, and getting around without a car could be a problem. A bike probably won't be enough either. There was quite a bit of morning noise from doors beeping as they unlocked, which can get annoying. Rooms facing the parking lot were quiet, but very bright and hot in the middle of the day, and the curtains only helped so much. The hotel had only been open for a month when I visited. Check-in was smooth and the front desk was helpful. The rooms were new, spacious, modern, and comfortable. The bed was nice, and the hot water, air conditioning, and fridge all worked as they should. Breakfast was basic but fine, and there's plenty of parking. Apart from those small issues, it was a great stay.
