The owner is so kind and welcoming, which makes the stay even nicer. I’ve stayed at Rimnim Hostel several times, and it’s always been a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean and well kept, and as a young woman traveling alone I’ve always felt completely safe. The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from a launderette and a 7-Eleven, with the area still lively late at night. Highly recommend!

The room was clean and organized, and there were snacks too. This feels more like a guesthouse, though I’d prefer a hostel atmosphere. There wasn’t much interaction between the host and guests, which made the place feel a bit cold. I hope that improves.

There are so many places to sit and hang out, and they have lots of community space. The owners are really nice, responsive, and ready to help or suggest things to do nearby. The dorms and facilities are extra clean, the beds are comfortable, and the air conditioning is great. I also loved the decor, it has lots of personality and feels cheerful and welcoming. The location is great, right in the heart of Nimman near everything. They even have things you might need to borrow, like a blow dryer. This is easily the best hostel I’ve stayed in since arriving in Thailand. Give it a try if you’re in Chiang Mai. I’ll 100% return when I’m back in Thailand.
