S17 @ Nimman Hotel

The room was really big and had a kitchen area. We were there for Loy Krathong, though, and it was impossible to get a taxi. The hotel didn’t have any taxi numbers. Otherwise, it was perfect and a really nice hotel.

The villa was a great fit for our group of 11, with lots of space and a good design. We stayed at Nimman Villa 17 from 17-19 August 2025. The location in the Nimman area is hard to beat, close to restaurants, cafés, and attractions, yet peaceful once you’re back. Everyone loved the private pool, especially after a day exploring Chiang Mai. The staff and owner did so much to make the stay enjoyable. Daily housekeeping kept everything spotless, and we appreciated the complimentary snacks and drinks, plus the homemade breakfast items. Their hospitality made us feel at home. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to families or groups visiting Chiang Mai. We’d love to come back.

This used to be much better. The location is good only if you can put up with the sound of planes taking off and landing. The bathroom was very dirty, with lots of black mold in every corner around the shower, inside and outside. The tabletop and underneath smelled bad and weren’t clean. The phone was dirty, and so was the kettle.

The bathroom gets really hot because heat comes through the two large windows, even though they aren't see-through. Using the toilet felt like sitting in a sauna. Still, it's hard to find a deal that includes parking and a fresh coffee buffet in the price.
