Sabai Day Guesthouse

I stayed nine nights and would come back. The check-in and checkout were easy, and the location is central for getting around on foot or by rideshare. You're close to food, nightlife and shopping, yet the guesthouse is on a quiet dead-end soi. At night, keypad security is used to enter the building. The staff were kind, welcoming and helpful, and spoke good English. The clean, quiet rooms were comfortable and received good daily care. Mine was a basic but good-sized room with a balcony and natural daylight. The air conditioning worked well, the Wi-Fi held up even at peak use, and there were plenty of outlets and good nighttime lighting in the room and bathroom. The large, firm bed was comfortable, and the shower had good pressure and hot water. There's also a shared commercial refrigerator with labeled bins for guests' cold items. The building has stairs only and no lift, which wasn't an issue for me. The shower drained slowly, and a leak around the toilet hand-sprayer connection left the floor area wet.

The room and bathroom were great, and I loved the delicious breakfast. The decor is beautiful too. It's about 50 meters from the white market and onenimman, with lots of shops close by, so the location is very convenient. I'd definitely stay here again.

After more than 20 visits to Chiang Mai, this is where I've felt the Chiang Mai lifestyle most. It's a lovely townhouse with unique rooms, three floors, and a spot right in the heart of the tourist area on Nimmanhaemin road. Even with the attractions within walking distance, it's surprisingly quiet at night. The toilet and shower were renovated this year and look stunning. Love it!

The location is great and the room is okay, but the bed is hard. Staff just did their jobs, nothing more. Also, there's a bar behind the guesthouse, so it's noisy until midnight.
