The stay at Siri Villa was great, with attentive staff and clean facilities. The one problem was our private pool, which we couldn’t use. It seemed they’d put a lot of bleach in after the previous guests, and the smell carried from meters away. Even after a hot shower, we still smelled of bleach and chlorine. I asked them to check it, but they didn’t.

We spent six unforgettable nights at Siri Village hotel in Chiang Mai, in a beautiful two-room suite they call a “double room.” The hotel has two separate parts, villas with private pools on one side and the Village hotel on the other. Most days we practically had the pool to ourselves, and the quiet surroundings made it easy to relax. The room was spacious, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. We loved the stylish, elegant design, and the lush garden and well-kept grounds felt like a peaceful oasis right in the heart of Chiang Mai. Service was friendly, attentive, and always came with a smile.

We’re leaving tomorrow after spending the past few days at Siri Village, and we’ve had a wonderful time. The staff are personable and helpful, and helped us organize some great activities. Our room, the hotel atmosphere, and the location have all been terrific. The lobby coffee is very good too.

I really enjoyed the quiet, peaceful feel of this lovely heritage hotel, which has real heart. It’s tucked in the middle of Chiang Mai’s old town, behind Chedi Luang Temple, and within walking distance of famous temples, massage spots, and restaurants.

We had a private-pool room, and it was gorgeous, well worth it. The whole property, including the grounds and pool, looks stunning, and the staff were great and clearly take their jobs seriously. It’s also walkable to anywhere in old town chiang mai. Breakfast was just okay, but I didn’t run into the problems mentioned in some bad reviews. The water was fine, and all the staff were lovely.
