The rooms were free of mosquitoes, which was a relief, though there were lots around the lounge. The design and facilities are contemporary, and the location is quite good for reaching some tourist spots. My room's AC wasn't working very well, although the AC in other rooms was okay. Still, a really good place to stay.

It's a clean Hostelling International hostel not far from downtown, but only average overall. With this many beds, the bathrooms and laundry service need a major improvement. The elevator was broken, the toilets had no toilet paper except for one roll at the room entrance, and there was no soap or towels for washing hands. Comfort is very basic for a price that isn't especially low. You can find better places around town.

The location worked well, with lots of temples nearby, and the front desk had a good range of popular attractions and activities to choose from. Downstairs there's a spot to make your own coffee and some cushioned chairs for sitting back and relaxing. The rooms were nice, and we had a great time in Chiang Mai. One of our favorite stops on our backpacking trip.

The hostel was clean and felt safe. It's between the square and the night market, with all the places I wanted to get to within a 5-10 minute walk.

Friendly staff and a nice hostel for groups, though not everyone speaks English. Wi-Fi is fine, and each guest gets a free code that lasts three days. You can ask reception for another one after it expires. The elevator badly needs an upgrade. Somehow, taking your luggage up six floors by stairs is faster than using it.
