Stay Collection Chiangmai

The area is great, with many Nimman attractions within walking distance and everywhere else easy to reach by bike or car. I stayed on the first floor and don’t sleep lightly, so the plane noise didn’t bother me at all. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with good amenities and a good shower. I didn’t use the pool, but it looked very nice. I’d come back next time I’m in Chiang Mai.

The room was nice for the price, and there are great places to eat in Nimman. One thing to watch when booking: some rooms connect through a door. That might be fine for a family, but if you’re traveling solo, ask for a secure room. Great location!

One Nimman mall is a short walk away, and there are plenty of eateries, cafés, and massage places around the hotel. The ramen place across the road is good, and Kao Soy Nimman, which is Michelin recommended, is also nearby. Meen at the front desk was very helpful and speaks perfect English. A couple of practical notes: the hotel doesn’t include breakfast, and traffic can make Grab rides take a while to reach you, so plan accordingly.

After five nights, I can say the location is excellent. I arrived without particular expectations about either the neighborhood or the hotel, and the area really feels like little Japan, with many Japanese and Chinese restaurants and Japanese bars, or izakaya. There’s a beautiful center nearby, as well as an impressive mall with everything. You’ll also find quality restaurants, bars, massages, ATMs, and more close to the hotel. The hotel has a boutique feel. The room had good air conditioning, a spacious shower, and a fairly comfortable bed with good pillows. The staff were very nice and helpful, whether answering questions or arranging an airport taxi. The smart TV connected easily to Netflix, and the internet was stable, although the 5 GHz signal was hard to pick up from our room. It was still okay. There is airplane noise, but that affects the whole city, not just this hotel. I’d definitely like to return.
