We stayed for four days, and the couple who run the place treated us like family. They greeted us in the mornings and welcomed us back, then came up to shake our hands when we left, thank us, wish us luck, and pray for safe travels. It’s authentic, extremely affordable, and homey. Wishing them both good fortune and a long life ❤️

The couple running this place are so lovely and make you feel really welcome. The rooms are decent, with good mattresses and pillows, and the showers are great too.

The two hosts were so kind and welcoming, and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. After three months of travel, Tangmo Hostel finally felt like home. It’s spotlessly clean, in a perfect location, with plenty of showers and super comfortable beds. The atmosphere makes you feel genuinely cared for. You can rent bikes or scooters right at the hostel, which is handy. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here, you won’t regret it!

I rented a 160cc scooter for two days at the special rate of 350 baht/day for rentals longer than one day. The service was excellent, everything was explained clearly, and the business felt fair about acknowledging the bike’s preexisting wear and tear. It ran well without any issues, and they provided good helmets. The deposit was 2000 baht and a copy of my passport, they didn’t ask for the original. I’d definitely rent from them again.
