Teeraya Boutique Guesthouse - Hostel

This was a great cheap place to stay. It’s just outside the inner city, so the neighborhood feels quieter. There’s a nice pool and couches in the common area where you can lounge. My four-person room had two fans and its own bathroom. It wasn’t super clean, but for 100 baht it was good. There’s plenty of great street food nearby in the evening.

I enjoyed the pool, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s about a ten-minute walk to the square city, and the place has a nice, relaxed vibe. My private room had two single beds, which worked out since there was no closet and I could use one bed for my stuff. The beds were decent, and breakfast was great, with eggs and toast plus coffee and tea. I stayed for three nights and would highly recommend it.

The common area was quiet and a nice place to relax, and there’s a pool to cool off in during summer. The staff were really cool too. I stayed at this hostel in December 2017 and had a great experience. Our room was spacious, had a private bathroom, and the bed was much more comfortable than beds at other places I’d stayed. I’ll definitely go back.

For what it costs, you get a lot here. The pool stays open from early until late, breakfast is free, and everything was clean. Even the outdoor toilet had toilet paper, which we hadn't found at other hostels. It ended up being the best hostel of our month in Thailand. I'd recommend it if you're travelling on a budget.
