Wiangchomphu Hotel

The cockroach I found in the room made the hygiene feel really questionable. The hotel is old and doesn't look like the photos, and the room wasn't cleaned every day. Reception staff were arrogant and unhelpful. After a long stay, I was very disappointed and definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Cockroaches in the rooms, no daily housekeeping, and a place that looked nothing like the photos. The hotel also wasn't very clean, and the staff weren't welcoming. It was a real disaster. There are much better places elsewhere.

The noise was the dealbreaker for me. The hotel is right beside a main road, the walls are extremely thin, and on a weekend there were people coming and going all night along with the traffic. I usually sleep well, but I couldn't sleep at all and kept getting startled awake. I probably won't stay again. The room was a good price and the bed was huge, about 6 feet, though the bathroom was quite small. Its light was broken that day; I told the front desk, but it was still broken. There was some kitchen equipment, and it was usable, though some things didn't seem perfectly clean from being used so much.

For 650 baht, it's an inexpensive place to stop and rest before continuing your sightseeing. It's right by the road and has convenient parking. I had a twin room with a good bed, pillows and blankets. Cleanliness was average, not bad. The bathroom is split into two separate rooms, one for the shower and one with the sink.
