A very nice hotel outside the city, but there's no Wi-Fi.

I stayed for two weeks in April 2019. At 400 baht a night, with affordable monthly rates, it was good value. The beds and bedding on floors 3 and 4 were very comfortable, and each room had great AC units and a good fan. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, from 8 a.m. until midnight. It's also quiet, and the staff are nice. The place is tucked away in a residential neighborhood, far from the main roads. Getting to the city center takes about 15-20 minutes by scooter, and there were several police checkpoints on 107 targeting tourists. It would be challenging on foot. Grab or taxis are options, but the cost could add up for a longer stay. I'd recommend staying here only if you have a car or scooter. Some things need attention: the room furniture is cheap pressboard, and some pieces had mold or water damage. The internet was unreliable and often dropped. When it rained, the power went out for 1-2 hours each time. Bathroom sinks weren't securely attached to the walls, and cleaning in the shared areas was limited. With a ride, though, it's an affordable, comfortable, quiet place for a longer stay.

I haven't found a favorite place to stay in Thailand yet, but this is it so far. It's five minutes from the city, clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There was no traffic noise, just birds and grasshoppers. Thanks for having me.

The facilities need attention, and housekeeping could do a better job. There was heavy dust on the bathroom exhaust fan, and the freezer had 3-4 cm of ice, which I defrosted myself. After a shower, water was still splashing around on the floor 20 minutes later. It's away from the old city, and the staff didn't know how to get there by public transportation.
