The Grand Napat

Breakfast was our favorite part. They made fresh waffles, scrambled eggs, omelettes and more for each table, and everything was tasty. The coffee was the best I’ve had at any hotel in Thailand. We also liked the laundry service, since our clothes came back fresh and perfectly ironed. The place was very clean and spacious, and the pool area made a great impression. The water could’ve been warmer, but it was still very nice. We really enjoyed staying here and recommend it.

Breakfast had lots of variety and was good. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, and the swimming pool is one of the hotel’s beautiful, impressive features. The grand napat also has spacious rooms and a gym with working machines. The gym is fine for a workout, though the equipment, especially the weight machine, is older, and there’s carpet on the floor, which I really disliked. The room walls are very thin. I could hear my neighbors’ conversation word for word, and the bed was the worst box spring mattress of my life. The hotel’s image doesn’t match the reality for me, especially given the fairly high price for the area. I felt underwhelmed and wouldn’t stay again. It’s somewhat removed from the old town, and the area’s infrastructure makes walking there difficult. Some streets are quite dark at night. You can get into the city easily by cab, though.

The staff were welcoming and lovely, and my room was big, well kept and had good amenities. It’s a lovely hotel on the outskirts of Chiang Mai, far enough from the ring road chaos but still close enough to reach within the city walls in 6-8mins. I’d highly recommend it.

We’ve just checked out. The staff were very kind, and the breakfast was nice. There’s a great pool with free towels and a basic gym. The interior is a bit dated, but the place is still very comfortable. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the Old Town, or a short ride with Uber or a tuktuk. I’d definitely recommend it to families and couples.
