Big Buddha Hillside Hotel

The pool area was pleasant, and the cleaning staff were polite, but the front desk seemed disorganized and made the stay stressful. My room wasn't ready at check-in even though I was told it was, and I was first handed the wrong key. There were bugs in the room too. After checkout I had to turn back on the way to the airport to collect my passport, and I nearly missed my flight. There was also a billing dispute: I booked through Agoda at a confirmed total price, then the hotel tried to add 6% after checkout, calling it an Agoda fee. I contacted Agoda to sort it out. With those billing and management problems, I wouldn't stay again.

The Big Budha Statue is beautiful, high up on a hill, and the scenery around it was awesome. We stopped there during our Phuket city tour. Visitors weren't allowed close, but we could still glimpse Big Budha from a distance. It's a place people shouldn't miss seeing. 🙏🙏

There was even an adorable cat that made the stay more enjoyable. The place itself is cozy and very nice, and every staff member was kind, polite, and welcoming. Highly recommended!

I've been booking there for six years and have never been disappointed. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with a huge bed and air conditioning, and the place is quiet. You can rent a scooter or ask them to book a taxi. The Big Buddha Hillside team is professional, helpful, and kind, and they really look after guests and are always ready to help. Thanks for the stay, see you soon! Sebastian
