The Greenery Central Suites & Hotel

The room and bathroom are spacious, the staff are friendly, and the price is reasonable. But the towels and hand towels were unacceptable. I attached photos.

The rooftop terrace had beautiful views across Chiang Mai and the surrounding mountains. The rooftop pool and fitness center were nice extras, and I felt safe with 24/7 security, a guard at the entrance, several locks on the room door, and a coded elevator. My triple room was spacious and comfortable, and Central Festival mall is conveniently nearby for shopping and dining. Getting around on foot was harder because the hotel is a little far from the city center. The room had some small ants, looked a bit dated, and had cracks in the walls. The small balcony didn't offer much of a view. I liked the deep soak tub, though the shower space was cramped and had limited headroom. I also found it unusual to see itemized charges for possible damage to hotel items and for extra toiletries. I understand the need to maintain standards, but providing essentials more generously would make guests happier. Room upkeep and guest services could improve, though the safety features and rooftop amenities made the stay worthwhile. I'd recommend it to someone looking for a safe, spacious place near Central Festival.

The hotel itself is decent, but a few things made the stay difficult. The bed was incredibly hard, less comfortable than massage beds, which are firm by design. The door uses a physical key that was awkward to turn and get working. One key card controls the room’s lights and power, plus the elevator and stair access. Since they only provide one card per room, your partner can be left inside while you’re unable to use the elevator. Needing the card for the stairs also seems like a problem for an emergency exit.

The staff were fantastic, from reception and security to the technicians and cleaners. I loved the roomy, well-priced room and its view, and the rooftop pool and gym were included, with a great sunset view. For the money, I still think it was worth it, even though there were some real annoyances. Traffic noise carried into my room day and night. I asked to move to the other side of the building, but they said the contract and policy wouldn’t allow it. I struggled to sleep at first and ended up buying earplugs. The AC was a bit loud too, though manageable. The Wi-Fi was the worst part. I had to pay for my own internet package to get work done, and although a sign said they were fixing it, my YouTube video was still downloading as I was about to check out. I stayed here for four months on a work trip and otherwise really liked my room.
