The Inside House

The kindness and attentiveness from the staff were over the top, and I can't wait to come back. I've stayed at many 5 star resorts, but this one surpassed them all. The included breakfast was stunning and delicious, and the minibar was stocked at no extra charge. The bath products and toiletries were premium, too. From the welcome drink and tea to the fruit tray and champagne, every arrival detail felt special. They greeted me with a cold towel, a welcome note, and a tour of the hotel and room. What an incredible experience, my favorite hotel of all time. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The room storage was the main weak point. Each of our two standard rooms had just one small wardrobe with a single drawer, even though there was only one person in each. The showers were amazing, though, and we loved the pool, which was a bit chilly but hardly used by anyone. I also had a brilliant one hour Thai massage in the spa. For five nights, the service was amazing. They knew our room numbers when we collected the keys and remembered to offer me the vegetarian menu. Breakfast was lovely, good quality, and cooked to order. Since we booked directly, some dinners and lunches were included, and while the food wasn't quite to our taste, there was a decent choice. The room's free drinks, snacks, and fruit were replenished daily, a nice extra given the high price. It felt like a calm city oasis with more of a spa vibe than a hotel.

The hotel is in a great spot in the old town, close enough to walk everywhere but away from the busiest intersection. It was easy to get in and out of the old city, and the area felt very safe to walk around. The staff made the stay special with all the little details, and from check-in through each day to checkout, everything went smoothly. I looked forward to breakfast every morning because the food was incredible. The interior looked stunning, and the pool area was fabulous. This was more than just a pretty place for photos: for the price, there are lots of amenities, including laundry, turndown service, welcome and exit gifts. They even made me a sandwich to take along when I left.

For part of our honeymoon, we stayed at the Inside House, and every employee went above and beyond to make us feel cared for. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated, and even had a hair straightener. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.
