We left our big backpacks with the owner while we went off on a four-day motorbike trip, which was really helpful. The place is simple and has no frills, but it was clean each morning, the water got hot, and the WiFi worked well, though the signal in our room was weak. There were small lockers in the hallway too. We paid 100 baht for a fan dorm and 150 for an air-conditioned dorm in December 2016. The beds were hard, but not uncomfortable. No complaints, especially for that bargain price.

The kitchen CCTV made me feel as if someone was watching me, and that was the one thing I didn't like. On the plus side, the front door used a key card, so I could head out early in the morning. The toilet was clean, with a warm shower and liquid soap. I also enjoyed talking with the owner, who's a year older than me. We swapped stories and remembered when petrol cost just 2 baht a liter. It felt like singing a favorite song in the same key.

It's close to the central square and the temples, and cheaper than anywhere else we looked. The place was clean and quiet, with warm showers if you wanted one. The beds weren't comfortable, though, and there were no blankets.

The owner was nice, and there was laundry and lockers. The beds felt like bricks, though, and he doesn't really check his emails if you need to make a change.
