For the price, it’s decent value. I’ve stayed here twice, once short term and once long term, and was impressed by the staff’s service and the hotel’s quality. Breakfast choices were limited. There was a sewage smell from the bathroom pipes, and I noticed some mosquitoes in the room. Some days, the neighbor’s dogs and the temple dogs barked loudly all day and night.

Y House Chiang Mai was great value and really affordable. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and I slept really well. It’s also an easy walk to the Chiang Mai Bus Terminal. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

I chose Y house based on the reviews and spent a week there to ease into Chiang Mai. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and check-in was easy. They even arranged a motorbike rental that arrived at the lobby in five minutes. My stay went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The rooms and common areas were clean and cleaned daily, with drinking water supplied each day. Breakfast was included in the room rate.

I stayed one night for the convenient location near the main bus station. The medium-sized room had a TV and enough room for my luggage. Value for money was 10/10, cleaning 8/10, staff 10/10. Reception was open 24/7, and the staff were kind. There was even a security guard outside. Location gets 7/10: it’s far from the smelly, noisy Chiang Mai city center. “Bolting” there costs around 50 baht, so that wasn’t a problem.
