Thunder Bird Hostel

We had a great time at this hostel. There are lots of shops, markets, and things to do nearby, and the location was amazing. Our private room was clean, comfortable, and lovely. The bathrooms were spacious and very nice, and all the receptionists were welcoming and lovely.

The rooms were beautiful, and I felt safe and comfortable there. Staff were so nice, the toilets stayed clean, the showers were good, and there was a water filter and a useful kitchen. You can find loads of restaurants within walking distance, plus a fresh fruit market right outside the front door. The rooftop smoking area was really nice too, and the whole place had good energy.

I had a peaceful, pleasant stay in August. The private room was clean, spacious, and had A/C. There’s a nice market with food and vegetables right outside, and the location is great.

The location made it easy to reach the center, and social hostels like stamps are about a minute away. I liked being able to spend the evening there and then come back here for a quiet night’s sleep. This hostel itself isn’t very social, though. The staff are kind, and the owner is understanding and will try to help if you need to adjust a booking or sort something else out. The rooms have A/C and windows that open, and there’s a small rooftop to hang out on or dry your things. It’s clean and spacious, with a ping pong table and a guitar too. Only disruption I noticed was someone playing piano at 1am, which they really shouldn’t be doing.
