V-Home

We got soaked in the rain coming from Doi Inthanon, then had a nightmare trying to find the place and reach the staff. There was no contact number at all, and we couldn't locate it. The staff at the stationery store gave us a side-eye when we arrived drenched. Absolutely no hospitality.

A really good place.

The only thing that let V Home down for me was the old shower head. Water splashed everywhere when I used it, and I think it needs replacing. Otherwise, it was a quiet, cozy stay. I liked having two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a separate shower room. It's right by the Sunday Market and about a 10-minute walk from Tha Pae Moon, with plenty of laundromats, coffee shops, restaurants, and bars nearby. The shopping area hasn't fully bounced back since COVID-19, though I think it will come alive again soon.

We were quite satisfied, aside from the weak shower pressure, even on the first floor. The house has two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and separate shower room, plus a small garden out front. Since the owner's home is next door, they quickly brought anything we needed. There were four jugs of water in the fridge at check-in, and they replenished them after three nights. They changed the towels too, and provided an electric stove for cooking. In rainy season, watch for snails at the entrance.
