We loved the vegan meals, which are cooked until 4 pm. There’s a good selection, the portions are generous, and they come with fresh fruit. The staff are very friendly, and reception can arrange trips at a discount. There are complimentary bananas, water, tea, and coffee too. The room stayed cool, so we didn’t need the AC all the time. It was also very quiet at night, and the bed was super comfortable. The location is great, just across the road from the old town, and the value for money is amazing. For Sticky Waterfall, you can go to the Stamp Backpackers hostel next door at 9:15 am. They go every day by red truck, and the price depends on how many people join. You don’t need to stay at the hostel.

I’m extremely disappointed. The power has gone out in all the rooms, so I’m writing this from the lobby. In the first few minutes in my room, I killed at least 10 ants, and there wasn’t any hand soap in the bathroom.

The location made it easy to get around Chiang Mai. I stayed for three nights, and the hotel was comfortable and quiet, with friendly staff.

The night shift guy gave good service, but our overall experience was poor. My girlfriend was very upset with the morning housekeeping lady, who wasn’t welcoming and behaved like a boss, treating us like trash. We asked reception on the second morning to clean the room while we were out, but they forgot, leaving us with an uncleaned bed and no apology. The double bed also wasn’t as spacious as it looked online. We stayed two nights, and we definitely won’t come back.
