If you're training at Manasak Muay Thai gym, it's about a 15-minute walk away. The hotel has a pool, coffee shop and boxing gym, and the staff were friendly and easy to find when I needed help. Getting to the old city or other main spots means walking or taking a bike taxi. Kalare night market and the other markets are about a 30-minute walk.

There isn't much around the hotel, and I had to walk at least 1.5 kilometers to find anything. Even reaching the first mini BGC meant walking along a road lined with auto repair shops, which didn't feel safe at night. Check-in isn't allowed before 2:00 PM unless you pay another 300 baht. I don't understand the extra charge. At other hotels, checking in early has never been an issue.

The rooms were roomy and clean, and the internet worked well. There's also a laundry service and a nice cafe on site. The old city is very close, and the staff were attentive and great.

I spent two weeks here while training Muay Thai. It's a little outside central Chiangmai, though there are plenty of food options nearby. The facilities were clean and looked after, and the price is hard to beat.

The hotel's atmosphere was pleasant, and I had a really nice stay. My room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were helpful and kind. I'd happily stay here again on my next trip to Chiang Mai.
