The hotel is over 30 years old, but its infrastructure still functions. The front desk was okay. Hot and cold drinking water is available on the first floor. My room was wide, with a very big window and two chairs. The TV was malfunctioning, though it could turn on, and the AC worked with clear air, making it great for sleeping. The tiled floor was clean when I checked in. Basic toiletries were provided, not a full set, so it’s better to bring your own. Next time, I won’t forget slippers for an economy trip, lol. There was black mold staining the shower tile sealant, but it wasn’t as bad as I’ve experienced before. The location is very peaceful, near a food street with many kinds of restaurants, including pizza, traditional Northern dishes, and various local food. Made-to-order dishes are also available from the hotel, see the menu in the photo. We walked easily from the Y to KooMeaung and the hospital. I saw many Western guests, though we’re a Thai couple. If you don’t mind the details, this place could be an option.

We only stopped by to eat, so I can't comment on the overnight stay, but the food and service were very good. It's also in a great spot, and the staff made it a really pleasant place to visit.
