YOLO Chic House

We stayed at the yolo house for six days. It’s a recently opened small hotel, and we had mixed feelings. There are still little things to work on that could make a stay great, good, average or bad. The room was modern and very nice, and clean when we arrived. The staff were friendly and courteous, and it’s close to the centre, about a five-minute scooter ride. The hotel also offers scooters for rent. But our room wasn’t cleaned during the six days, even though we asked four times. We had to empty the bin and tidy up ourselves. The rubbish brought in lots of ants. The shower only gave a weak trickle, so showering took twice as long. Breakfast was a token offering of white bread in a plastic tupawear, plus a toaster and coffee sachets. That was disappointing since breakfast was in their cafe and bakery, but nothing from there was offered. It’s good budget accommodation, and I think the hotel may improve with time and take the constructive comments on board.

Fairly clean and close to the center, with good value. Breakfast is enough, though sparse. I’d return.

A stylish guest house with clean facilities and excellent service.

Stop by for coffee if you like, but it was very average. The cheese toast was much too oily.
