Baan Iris

A small resort with a kind owner and excellent service, not far from Singha Park.

For a group of three, the owner added a mattress and blanket for just 100 baht, and there were spare towels and little washcloths too. The owner was so helpful and kind. The stay cost 500 baht, unbelievably cheap for what we got. I've traveled through five provinces, and this was the one that impressed me most. (20/12/2024 from Bangkok) They even had slippers for the room. It's about four kilometers from Wat Rong Khun, a bit of a drive in, and very quiet. Our room was new, clean, and huge, with a six-foot-wide bed, thick comfortable mattress, two pillows per person, and a duvet. Everything was brand new, including the roomy bathroom with a partition between the wet and dry areas. There were four bottles of water, a kettle, two glasses and coffee cups, coffee, and a small snack plate. They also supplied a comb, two toothbrush and toothpaste sets, a razor, a shower cap, and a TV. There was a sturdy clothes rack, two tables, and chairs.

It was quiet, and I slept comfortably in a clean room.

I've stayed here whenever I visit Chiang Rai. The room is airy, spacious, new, clean, and inexpensive, and my dog can stay free with no added charge. It's near Wat Rong Khun and Singha Park. I definitely recommend it.
