The location downtown is good, and the place is clean. But the pricing makes no sense: the "budget" room costs 800 THB and the "deluxe" costs 1,000 THB, even though the rooms are exactly the same. I had the "deluxe," with two twin beds facing outside, next to a school that woke us with singing and drums at 7:30 am. My friend paid less for the "budget" room, which also had two twin beds but faced inward, so there was no noise. The bathroom is so cramped that the door hits the toilet before it can open all the way. Breakfast was awful, just cheap white bread, rice soup, cold fried eggs, and watermelon. The layout may be the worst designed I've seen in Thailand: confusing, with wicker furniture outside the rooms and odd corridor angles.

The breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing for me. The staff are very good, though, and some speak English. The hotel is very large, with a spacious room, good facilities, a good hot shower, and a huge parking area. Everything you need is there.

The shower was impossible to use, switching from cold to boiling water every 15 seconds. Maybe only older guests stay here, since they might not have read the reviews.

The room was clean, with a window looking out over a large area set up with tables. I can only imagine how noisy it would get if an event were happening downstairs. There's also a spiral staircase going up to the 4th floor. The odd feeling starts as soon as you leave the elevator. There's a big open space with seats facing each other, a bit like minivan seats, but it feels even stranger than a bus station waiting room. It's windowless and faces the elevators, so I can't picture anyone hanging out there. Farther down the corridor, there are more seats and tables right beside the rooms, almost like sitting outside your room. Breakfast was ok, except the dining room and attendants made for a depressing atmosphere. This is the strangest hotel I've stayed in.
