Blue Lagoon Hotel

We had a comfortable one-night stay. The room was clean and roomy, and the Wi-Fi stayed steady. Breakfast had a nice range of options. There’s no elevator, but the staff kindly carried our bags up to the room.

The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful, as we’ve usually found in Thailand. Our room had a patio door, but it was misted over because it faced a brick wall, so there was no view outside. We should have checked the details more carefully since this was mentioned, so that part was our mistake. For a night or two, that room might be fine, but spending four nights there wasn’t the best choice for us.

The pool and breakfast were both good, and we could park our motorbike with boxes right beside reception, which was especially handy. The rooms felt a little worn and the bathroom was small, but the price reflects that. With the central location in mind, I thought it was good value.

We only booked one night, which was a shame because we really liked it. The bed was very comfortable, the rooms were great, and the pool was clean and lovely. We spent the evening sitting poolside with a beer and our feet in the water. Staff were a delight, the location was perfect, and the price was quite good.
