We loved the pool and the clean facilities, and there's even a cute cat that sleeps at reception. After three weeks traveling around Thailand, this was easily our favorite hotel. The staff were so friendly, the chalets cute and comfortable, and the setting felt like a private little jungle. There are mosquitoes, but that's to be expected. The food was incredible, and the restaurant's indoor-outdoor design is beautiful. Our bathroom could use a little updating to feel more luxurious, but it didn't take away from the stay, especially as we were in one of the less expensive rooms. We liked being a short drive from town, with taxis and bikes easy enough to arrange. There are lovely walks from the hotel to a nearby reservoir and temple.

The swimming pool is fantastic, and you can get into the city quickly by scooter. It's a cheap place to stay, so the price-quality ratio is excellent. The bed was lovely too. The bungalows look beautiful, though they're small, with tiny terraces, and sit close together behind lush plants. There are three price levels: the cheapest has just one window facing the next bungalow's roof, the mid-range is a little better, and the most expensive is much more spacious and airy. It felt humid during our stay, though it didn't rain. The entrance is very cozy, with a nice coffee bar and delicious restaurant.

The hotel is actually quite nice, but the room was so close to the street that my pillow was only two or three meters from passing cars. Traffic was especially busy in the mornings, so sleeping then was out of the question. When I asked to change rooms, they offered earplugs instead. The pool area looks like it was once beautiful, but it's seen better days. Protruding boards and a completely loose entry handrail seemed dangerous to me. We ate at the hotel on our first evening, and after ten days in Thailand it was easily the worst meal we'd had.

The view is stunning, and the stairwell with ramps on both sides looks gorgeous and luxurious. It's definitely worth taking a few Instagram photos. But the stay itself was a mixed bag. My room was on the small side, and there were lots of bugs, though that's expected in a forest-like area. The road is close, the walls are thin, and you can hear everyone talking, especially in the early morning. The rocky ground also made it hard to roll a suitcase. Most staff were nice, though some came across as rude and snickered to each other when we asked for something or pointed out a problem. Restaurant service was very slow: food took about 20-40 minutes, and drinks about 15. I found that odd when my mother had only ordered a canned Coca-Cola and I could see the fridge across the place. When it got a little dark, the receptionist gave me a filthy look for asking for a pool towel. There were butterflies struggling to fly along the path to the room, and several near-death ones lying where we rolled our suitcase. I know that's not the hotel's fault, but it was upsetting and strange to see. The smoothies were nice, but breakfast was basic, just cereal, toast, and stale butter in a bowl. The menu from breakfast through dinner felt very expensive for a casually priced hotel. They have no snacks, and you have to pay for water. The pool is nice, though it had more creatures in it than usual. The bathroom was very small, and the toilet points in a strange direction when you sit on it. Pan Kled Villa has a very aesthetic, Pinterest-like feel, but if you want a good night's sleep and proper service from kind staff, I wouldn't recommend it. My experience was quite negative, though as a Ryan Trahan fan I dislike bad reviews, so I've tried to put it in my best words. As a young adult whose goal is to spend everyone's money on stupid products, I'll leave you to decide if it's right for you. Merry Christmas and happy New Year ❤️

We stayed for three nights, and it was an absolute delight. The resort is tucked away from the bustle but only a short drive from walking streets, night markets, and bars, so the location felt perfect. Staff were friendly and very accommodating, even getting my laundry done the morning before our flight. There were plenty of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options at a good price, and the pool was big with lots of seating. I'd definitely recommend staying here.
