Amari Bangsaen

The breakfast buffet was excellent, with authentic, delicious food and drinks, and the pool was nice. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and polite. A special thanks to Ple for looking after our extended luggage range, great guy. We had a very pleasant stay. If you want a joyful time in Thailand, this is the place to be!

The location made it easy to explore: Bangsaen beach and the street markets are right across the road, while restaurants, cafes and a 711 are only a couple of minutes away on foot. The grounds are beautifully maintained and feel peaceful. Staff I met were warm, welcoming and very helpful. The hotel has a good-sized pool with a sunken bar, an on-site gym and several meeting rooms for functions or private events. My room, 4035, was spotless and well maintained, probably the cleanest I've stayed in. It had modern touches like USB C ports on both sides of the bed. The bed was very comfortable, with quality linen and a medium-firm mattress. The AC worked well and quietly. In the decent-sized shower, you could choose a handheld or rain head, and the water was hot with good pressure. There was also a walk-out balcony with a couple of chairs and a pool view. Usual amenities were provided, including tea, coffee, bottled water, toothbrushes, shower caps and sanitary bags. I enjoyed the stay and will definitely return. My only gripes were a very cheap, poorly fitting toilet seat, possibly the wrong one, and that the complimentary water is limited to two bottles per room. You can ask for more, but I think it should be four.

Our suite upgrade was totally worth it, and it was super spacious. We spent four wonderful nights at Amari and would recommend the suite so much. The Breeze Spa was 10/10, the best massage we had in Thailand. There was lots for our toddler to do, from the kids club and beach to the water fountains. The beach with all its palm trees was amazing, and once the stalls were gone, we had a really nice view across the sea. The stalls had been there over New Year's. We'd definitely come back.

Kratai at the hotel restaurant made us feel welcome every time we ate there. They were attentive, friendly and very accommodating, and their recommendations were spot-on. Kratai balances professionalism with warmth so effortlessly, which made the service stand out. The room was just as impressive, spacious, comfortable, spotless and beautifully maintained. The bed was cozy, the amenities were thoughtful, and it was a perfect place to unwind after a long day. Our stay was wonderful from start to finish and exceeded expectations. We'll definitely return!
