ONPA Hotel & Residence Bangsaen

I always stay here when I come for the Bangsaen marathon events, whether it's the 10, 21, or 42. The location is great, and they run a shuttle bus to the marathon. Breakfast is included too, and it's delicious.

The room had a broken brick on the balcony and a spider in the bathroom sink, which I found unacceptable for a room being sold to guests. When I asked, the staff said it had just been cleaned, but the condition made that hard for me to believe. I had asked to look at my assigned room before checking in. Staff said it was still being cleaned and wouldn't let me inspect it, but told me I could check in right away. I appreciated how quickly they handled the check-in, but cleanliness needs to improve. It's a crucial part of running a successful business.

The location worked well, with restaurants nearby, and the setup was perfect for my family. We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room, and a kitchen for our one-night stay. It was worth the price, and I'd highly recommend it for families.

There are plenty of restaurants near the hotel, and the beach is about 500 m away, roughly a 10-minute walk. The pool was nice, though small for the number of guests, and it's in a separate building. We booked two one-bedroom rooms for four people. Each had a well-designed living room, bedroom, and toilet, with enough space for two. The rooms, balconies, and toilets were clean, and the apartment-style decor was nice. The price was reasonable for such large, clean rooms. With eight floors and just one elevator, getting around took some time. At check-in, only one front desk staff member was handling everything, so there weren't enough staff for the guests. She was helpful and patient, though, and did her job well.
