We booked through Agoda a month ahead because the listing said there was a swimming pool and an airport shuttle. We messaged beforehand asking for a pickup from a nearby station and got no reply. When we arrived, the woman at the desk didn’t know we were coming, and no room had been prepared. The pool was closed for maintenance and very dirty. In the toilets beside it, there was a frog or toad in the toilet bowl. The desk attendant didn’t speak English, so it was hard to communicate. We also asked for a ride to a bus station, but the driver wanted 1,000 baht when he dropped us off. We wouldn’t come back or recommend the place.

The place has a nice atmosphere and the staff are kind, though the property is old. Our room had no hot water, and the bathtub wasn’t easy to use for a shower. Another room did have hot water. The outside light was broken, and staff said it wasn’t easy to replace it. We needed it for a BBQ outside. Giant ants kept walking around our room and even got into the bed, although we didn’t bring any food inside. Breakfast was quite simple, and there were ants near the food.

I used this quiet place as a base for visiting local vineyards and had no problems. There are large individual brick bungalows set among lots of trees in a big green area.
