The LogBook Room and Cafe

A good value for work stays in Chonburi, with the basic comforts and plenty of local dinner options nearby. You can also walk to the shopping mall for food. Breakfast is included, with rice porridge and bread with jam, but coffee costs extra at the coffee bar. There's no kettle in the room, which seems like a basic thing to have, especially since they don't supply instant coffee.

The hotel is small, but the rooms were clean and cozy, and the modern interior looked great. As a backpacker, I found it affordable, and the staff were very helpful. The Logbook really earns my five stars.

There’s no lift, so this may not work well if you have mobility problems. The rooms are clean, spacious, and have the basic features, and the price is very reasonable. The location feels oddly tucked behind the Central Plaza Shopping Mall, though it’s close to all amenities. The staff were wonderfully pleasant and helpful, and spoke English. I’d call it a hit.

For my next staycation in City of Chonburi, this beautiful hotel is my first choice. It’s right behind Central Plaza Chonburi, and you can walk there.
