The location is really good, with local restaurants and bars all around, and the beach about a 5-minute walk away. The building has a student dorm look, but the room itself is fairly new and renovated, like the photos. Parking is limited. The mattress is quite hard, though quiet, and the pillows and blanket were good. The air-con worked well. The toilet is small, with a water heater, and there’s a hair dryer plus small bottles of shower gel and shampoo. Towels were brown and a decent size, not thin. The TV has no Netflix, YouTube, or other apps.

The room felt spacious and comfortable, and came with everything I needed, including fresh baked cookies, coffee, a kettle and cups. It also had a lovely fragrance when I first walked in. I was pleased with it. The beach is about a 10-minute stroll, with restaurants, bars and the Bangkok van shuttle nearby. The manager speaks English and is very helpful. A great fit for a few days away or even a longer stay.

The hotel itself is nice, clean, and run by friendly owners. But it’s a VERY Thai area, and I seemed to be the only westerner there. After dark I felt uncomfortable because I was getting some nasty looks. I understand locals wanting space without tourists in their own country. I ended my stay early and left after one day. If you speak Thai, you’d probably be fine, but otherwise I’d avoid the area. Nice hotel, not such a nice location for me.

The room was super clean, and the towels and bedsheets smelled nice. Water pressure was very strong, and the location is handy for restaurants, massage shops and nightlife. Just be aware there’s no lift, and the building is walk-up. The room isn’t soundproof and the WiFi was unstable. I’d still stay here again.
