A-Te Chumphon Hotel

I booked just an hour before I got there, so I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful the staff were. They unloaded my suitcases from the car and helped me get checked in. My room opened onto the pool, which made it easy to go for a swim, and there were lots of chairs and loungers around. The TV had smart features, so Netflix and YouTube were right there. I liked the pillows so much that I bought one from the gift shop when I checked out.

Breakfast was the standout for me, much better than I expected. There was barista coffee, an egg station, fresh waffles, and a good mix of Thai and Western food, plenty to get the day started. It’s easy to get around on foot from here, with a restaurant, bar, 7-Eleven, and local market just nearby. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and roomy enough to unwind after a long day. There’s a pool too, which is a nice extra. A-Te Hotel in Chumphon worked really well for a short stay of 1-3 nights. I’d stay again when passing through.

The room won us over with how practical it was. Wi-Fi worked well, the air conditioning cooled things quickly, and the shower was hot and strong. There was also plenty of closet and shelf space. We stayed five nights on a drive from Samut Prakan to Chumphon. At first my wife and I thought it was a bit overpriced, and the room felt rather corporate and plain. But the place grew on us. The staff were great, breakfast excellent, and the location was decent for walking around Chumphon town. I think booking here is a solid choice.

A handy place to stop if you're island hopping or catching another train to somewhere else in Thailand. The reception team helped arrange trips around chumpong. The staff were welcoming and helpful, nothing seemed like too much trouble. My room was clean and comfortable, with what I needed, and breakfast was pretty good too.
